Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
At Pausitive, your data is about you, and above all it is about your health. We handle it with the greatest care, in full transparency. This policy explains what we collect, why, with whom, and what your rights are.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is CALDREN, SAS, 69 rue du Rouet, 13008 Marseille, France (SIREN 104 201 876), the company that publishes the Pausitive app. Contact: contact@getpausitive.app.
2. Pausitive is not a medical device
Pausitive is a support and wellbeing service around menopause. It does not provide a diagnosis, does not replace the advice of a health professional, and must not be used to decide on a treatment on your own. If in doubt or in an emergency, consult a doctor.
3. The data we collect
- Account: a technical identifier is created when you first launch the app. If you use Apple or Google sign-in, the identifier provided by those services (and, where applicable, an email address) is used to find your account.
- Profile and questionnaire: first name, and the information you enter about your situation (for example symptoms you feel, preferences, constraints), to personalize your program.
- Daily check-ins: how you feel about your sleep, energy, mood, your symptoms and their intensity, the day's factors, and your free notes.
- In-the-moment help (SOS): the symptoms you report to receive immediate help.
- Progress and journal: the content you view or complete, your streaks, your journal.
- Reviews and feedback: the messages you send us through the feedback feature.
- Partner code: if you arrive through a creator, the code you may enter (for attribution).
- Subscription: the status of your subscription. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we neither collect nor store your banking details.
- Technical and usage data: anonymized navigation events (screens visited, steps completed) to understand and improve the app. These measurements never include health data.
4. Your health data
Some information (symptoms, intensities, how you feel) qualifies as health data, a special category protected by the GDPR. We process it only on the basis of your explicit consent, given by using the app, and only to provide and personalize the service. It is never sold, never used for advertising purposes, and never passed on to third parties for those purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account.
5. Why we use it and on what basis
- Provide the service (account, program, check-ins, coach, content): performance of the contract between us.
- Personalize your support based on your symptoms and how you feel: your explicit consent.
- Measure and improve the app (anonymized statistics): our legitimate interest in advancing the service.
- Manage the subscription and partner attribution: performance of the contract.
6. Who processes the data for us
We rely on service providers (processors) that act on our instructions:
- Supabase: database hosting and authentication, on servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).
- PostHog: anonymized usage statistics, hosted in the European Union.
- RevenueCat: management of subscription status.
- Apple and Google: distribution, sign-in and payment processing.
- Anthropic: when you chat with the coach, your messages are sent to this artificial intelligence provider to generate a reply.
7. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (in particular RevenueCat and Anthropic) are located in the United States. These transfers are governed by appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses of the European Commission). Whenever possible, we favor hosting within the European Union.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, it is erased or anonymized, subject to the retention periods required by law (for example accounting rules for proof of purchase).
9. Security
We put in place reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data (encryption of exchanges, restricted access, separation by account). As no system is infallible, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, and restriction, as well as the right to withdraw your consent and to set instructions regarding the fate of your data after your death. To exercise them, write to us at contact@getpausitive.app. You can also delete your account directly from the app.
If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
11. Minors
Pausitive is intended for adults. The app is not aimed at minors and we do not knowingly collect their data.
12. Changes
This policy may change. In the event of a significant change, we will let you know in the app. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
13. Contact
For any question about your data: contact@getpausitive.app.
